This policy explains what information Construction Alley (“we”) collects through constructionalley.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to respond to your estimate request.

What we collect

When you send an estimate request, we receive what you type or attach:

• Your name and phone number, your email address if you add it, and how you’d like us to contact you
• The ZIP code where the job is
• The services you’re interested in and your description of the job
• For painting, drywall, and demolition requests, roughly when your home was built (or that you don’t know)
• Up to three photos, if you choose to add them
• How you found us, such as the website, search, or ad that brought you to this site, and the first page you visited

Photos can show the inside of your home, so please include only what’s needed for the job. When your browser supports it, the site resizes photos before sending, which also removes most hidden photo data (such as the location where a picture was taken).

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to run and protect the site.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we don’t ask you to create an account.

How we use it

• To review your request, ask follow-up questions, and prepare an estimate
• To contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email
• To schedule and carry out the work if you approve an estimate
• To keep basic records of the requests and jobs we handle

We will not add you to a marketing list or send promotional texts. If we text you, it’s only about your request or job. Message and data rates may apply.

Who else handles it

We don’t sell or rent your information. A few service providers handle it on our behalf, only to provide their service:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and receives and stores estimate form submissions, including photos.
• Our email provider, which receives a copy of each request as a notification.
• Google (Google Sheets and Gmail), where we keep a copy of each request to track and follow up on it.
• If you book your estimate visit online, the scheduling service we use for appointments receives the details you enter there.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.

We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests for as long as needed to respond and for our business records, then delete them. Requests that don’t turn into a job are deleted within 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us. Contact us using the details below, or reply to any message we’ve sent you about your request.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption. Access to submissions is limited to the people who handle estimate requests. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don’t include sensitive details such as payment information or alarm codes in the form.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
